1. Give yourself room to move
On desktop, use WASD or the arrow keys. On mobile, play in landscape and drag your finger to move. Your active move attacks automatically. Keep your attention on open space and incoming threats instead of repeatedly pressing an attack key.
2. Make a wide route through the map
Large loops can help keep a following crowd together. Before collecting experience, check that you can leave the area afterward. Avoid narrow gaps that can close before you reach them.
3. Switch attacks deliberately
Use 1–4 to select a move or Q/E to cycle. Pay attention to the enemies in front of you and their type matchup. You control the active move; learning when to switch is part of the run.
4. Plan one evolution
Pick a move you can use reliably. Check its target and required card in the move reference. Focus upgrade decisions enough to make progress toward that plan instead of collecting options without a purpose.
5. Notice the enemies that help the horde
Healers and shield-casters can make a crowd harder to clear. When you can approach safely, target the support behind the pressure. Leave filling ground markers before the attack arrives.
6. Invest in a partner you enjoy
Permanent upgrades are partner-specific. Concentrating on a favorite gives you a stable starting point for learning. When testing another partner, compare the upgrade budgets before judging its strength.
7. Learn the account and co-op basics
Use the official game’s account system when you want cloud progress. Co-op supports up to four players. Give yourself room near a fallen teammate if you attempt a revive, and use the official game in a separate tab if embedded sign-in fails.
A useful end-of-run question
What ended the attempt: getting trapped, missing a danger marker, an unsuitable active attack or an unfinished upgrade plan? Choose one adjustment for the next run, then check whether it helped.
